Recently we made a trip down to Turkey Run State Park. An extremely terrain diverse park that can be a photographers dream, and a darn good place to hike around. It was the first big outing for my new FujiFilm X30 and I was looking forward to having some fun shooting with this little camera. Just how much fun was coming my way I wasn’t aware of yet. This camera packs a ton of shooting options of which many have focused on the film emulations, especially the new Classic Chrome. Along with the film emulations it also has several cool filter options of which one is the Miniature Filter. The Miniature option produces a tilt-shif affect and when an image is composed properly it can look pretty darn cool. I tested with the various filter options and the Miniature won me over this day and became what I shot with mostly as we hiked around the park. Here are some photographs from that day all shot with the Miniature Filter option.
